TUSTIN, Calif., April 13, 2026 — BioPhotas, Inc., the global leader in FDA-cleared LED light therapy devices under the Celluma brand, today announced the appointment of Jessica McGee, PHR, as Vice President of Human Resources, effective April 13, 2026.

As the company’s first executive-level HR leader, McGee will be responsible for building and leading the human resources function, developing robust systems, and shaping the culture and organizational infrastructure to support BioPhotas’ continued rapid growth. She will report directly to CEO Curtis Cluff and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team.

McGee brings more than 17 years of human resources leadership experience across high-growth organizations, with a proven track record of aligning talent strategy with business objectives, enhancing employee engagement, and building high-performing, inclusive cultures. Most recently, she served as an HR Business Partner at The Surfrider Foundation, where she partnered with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness and support mission-driven initiatives.

Previously, McGee held senior HR leadership roles at companies including First American, Helium 10, and Havas Edge, where she led workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design initiatives. Notably, she has experience building HR infrastructure from the ground up, implementing upgraded systems to support global expansion efforts — capabilities that align closely with BioPhotas’ current stage of growth.

“Jessica is a highly strategic and people-focused leader whose experience building HR functions in dynamic, fast-growing organizations makes her an ideal fit for BioPhotas,” said Curtis Cluff, CEO of BioPhotas. “As our acceleration continues, her leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our culture, developing our people, and ensuring we have the infrastructure in place to support our long-term vision.”

In her new role, McGee will oversee all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits strategy, compliance, employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational design. She will work closely with leadership across all departments to align BioPhotas’ people strategy with its business objectives.

“I’m excited to join BioPhotas at such a pivotal moment in its growth,” said McGee. “The company’s commitment to innovation and improving lives through light therapy is inspiring. I look forward to partnering with the leadership team to build a strong, scalable HR foundation and an engaging, purpose-driven culture that supports both our employees and our continued success.”

McGee holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification and has completed advanced certifications in diversity and inclusion and HR ethics. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Kansas and a certification in Human Resource Business Management from the University of California, San Diego.
